As the inaugural Executive Director of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, Maya has built groundbreaking initiatives in youth mental health to support the wellness of young people and empower them to build a kinder, braver world. Under Maya’s leadership, Born This Way Foundation piloted its flagship teen Mental Health First Aid program in collaboration with the National Council for Behavioral Health in over 80+ schools across the country including Valley High School in Las Vegas.
